Wow!  What a week.  So, week started off good, nice holiday weekend right.  Lots of quality time with the family, a little bit of work time snuck in here and there, all good.  Then BAM, hit by a freight train called the stomach flu! Very early morning on Tuesday I was hit in a very not pleasant way by the stomach bug that had hit our youngest kiddo the week before.  This thing was pure evil.  I was pretty much permanently in a horizontal position for almost 30 hours straight.  Thank goodness the kids had mercy on me and behaved very well considering and were okay with McDonalds for dinner two nights in a row!  This also continues to prove my point that my daughter, my youngest was born a super hero.  Besides the few times she tossed her cookies, she by no means was down for the count when she had this bug.  Yikes!  It wasn’t until today really that I feel completely like myself.

So, feeling better I am going full bore into the last week before my next pop-up shop.  Making lists upon lists and preparing for some late nights while I burn into the finish line getting everything done in time.  Oh, and decided to start a podcast.  Yup, don’t mind me having a mild panic attack over here in the corner.  No, really, it’s going to be a good thing.  I’ve kind of started doing it already with my maker mom interviews.  And essentially that is what its going to be, mostly maker moms telling their stories, with a little bit of my own story mixed in.  I’m lucky enough to have had my wife, and other friends cheering me on and encouraging me to go this route.  Now I just need to buckle down and get the plan set.  Today I spent the afternoon listening to a podcast about podcasts that was recommended to me by a friend.  I have a link below if you want to check it out.  The episodes are nice and short and concise and packed full of information, definitely one I’m keeping on my “must listen to” lists.

Biggest wins for the day: Prepping to start a new adventure, podcast!

Opportunities for improvement: Ummmm, better job of sterilizing the children upon their re-entry into the home after visiting the germ factory???
