Three-day holiday weekends call for lots of family time.  Especially when it’s a rainy weekend.  Put my making skills to use in a different way this weekend by building a blanket fort for the kiddos so they can go “camping” in the living room.  Enjoying lots of snuggle time and the kids playing together.  My youngest is really coming into her own and can hang with her big brother for quite a while during play time.  Its nice to hang back and listen to them giggle and hear the stories they make up, until they start to annoy each other of course! Still, fun times, with minimal refereeing required!  Win!

Being the hustler that I am though, I of course have snuck in a bit of work.  Transcribing the first of the 3 maker Mom interviews and getting two of the three audio files up on my Patreon page.  The files are open to the public, so you don’t have to become a Patron to listen in.  Look for that to be uploaded on the blog soon!

Biggest wins for the day: Blanket fort construction and giggles with the kids.

Opportunities for improvement: More nap time?
