Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of days.  I have been spending time with the family, much needed time since the last few weeks have been kind of crazy busy.  This is also a big time of change for our little family.  We are preparing for our oldest to start Kindergarten this week as well as our youngest to start a new day care.  This will not only be a change of scenery but a change of time schedule and everything.

I will confess that all of this change is giving me lots of anxiety.  I am really wigging out over here!  I’m both trying to soak up as much quality time with my littles as I can in preparation of time about to get hectic as well as trying to calm myself down and tell myself that I’m not alone.  Families go through these changes ALL THE TIME.  If they can do it, then I know we can too.

Friday was the kids’ last day at the daycare they/we have been going to since my oldest was just 9 months old.  My youngest has been with the same teachers as my oldest was, so we have had these awesome ladies in our lives on a daily basis for over 4 years.  It was definitely a tear-filled goodbye on Friday afternoon.  I know my kiddos and us Moms’ will adjust just fine to the new surroundings, schedules, and new adventures.  Though we greatly appreciate the wonderful care our kiddos have received the past 4 years.  Man!  Being a Mom is an emotional roller coaster!

Biggest wins for the day: Had an awesome playdate with my two kiddos and two of their closest friends.

Opportunities for improvement: Remember to breathe when that anxiety creeps up.
