Been MIA on the blog for a bit.  Though I am happy to report I did what I thought was impossible to do!  In just two weeks’ time, I created:

4 small side table

2 console/sofa tables

18 sets of coasters

7 balanced wine bottle holders

2 bowls

Now of course, there were a few things that had to get cut from the list because there just wasn’t enough time.  I had planned on completing 1 more bowl, 1 more console table, and 2 serving trays.  However, they are all prepped and ready to be finished, and will make good first additions to the upcoming pop-up shop at Luxe Interiors at the end of the month.

Friday night Grand Opening at The Makers Loft in downtown Iowa City was absolutely amazing.  People started coming in about 5 and it was a steady stream of lots of people all the way up til 8:30 that night.  I sold some items, which always makes me happy and I got to meet quiet a few awesome people.  If you weren’t able to be there that night for the Grand Opening, no worries, I will have product there on-going.

Now this week I will be playing catch up on the mountain of a to-do list that was created while I had to focus solely on making product!

Biggest wins for the day: Fantastic night at The Makers Loft grand opening.

Opportunities for improvement: Time management!!!
