Happy Halloween everyone!  I don’t know about your households, but in this one there have been two kiddos who just can’t wait for today.  And so, the partying ensues.  Yesterday was one school costume parade, and today another.  Then of course trick or treating tonight! Also, true to form, my daughter ends up sick today.  I don’t believe she has been healthy yet for a Halloween.  I think she will be feeling well enough though by the end of the day to do some trick or treating!  We have a Minnie mouse and a bat for costumes in our house.  How about in yours?

Things have been ticking along on the business front.  The podcast is going into episode 4 to be released this week, and is getting awesome feedback. Also, events keep rolling in for the holiday season that’s coming quickly.  Makes my schedule busy, but its great having all these opportunities.  Starting to think about next year already and working out plans for new opportunities and how to continue to leverage the ones I have already.  I for sure plan to continue to grow the content side of my business with more frequent videos, blogs, and of course the new podcast.  I think this year will be time to actually put a real-ish strategic plan down in writing for next year.  Up until now I have been just winging it to a certain degree, which is fine in the start for a bit, but now that things are getting more real, I need to get more real with tangible goals and concrete plans.  So far, I have made a new spreadsheet for tracking expenses and inventory, and hired my wife to manage it, because that is not my strong suit.  Not sure what other all of the next steps that will be taken, but I will be sure to share it when they happen.

Biggest wins for the week: Getting more business opportunities.

Opportunities for improvement: Structured business management.
